What to do during those last weeks of High School

As school is coming to a close I have found myself with nothing to do in any of my classes. Not to say that it's a bad thing, but it is slowly making me less and less motivated to show up for school. The hours on end of the same two Star Wars movies in four different classes throughout the course of two weeks is enough to make you go insane. And on top of that there are board games being shuffled around, a dead phone by fourth period, and the stressful planning of senior year. With all of this free time, I have been able to think of what I could be doing to be more productive or monopolize on the only time my teachers actually want me to be on my phone. I have compiled a list of possible activities to do during your free time.
1. Take a Buzzfeed Quiz (or 20)
Buzzfeed is an endless hole filled with pointless articles, quizzes, and polls that will make you really question your whole existence. I have even found out that I will be getting married in either 4 years or 10 and that based on how I decorated a home my favorite food is ice cream. Crazy, but I believe they have a method to their madness for creating such addicting quizzes.
2. Draw a masterpiece
Whip out that old notebook, tear out a page, and get to doodling! No matter if you fill up the whole page with a self portrait or create a magical land of fire-breathing hippos you can let your imagination run free and make amazing worlds or characters that go on epic journeys.
3. Play card games
Recently one of my classmates brought a deck of cards to class and boy let me tell you we have fun. From Go-fish to Bullshit to Egyptian
Ratslap you and your friends will have a blast, not only wasting time but putting your quick-witted skills to the test.
4. Find a better movie
Sometimes the "school approved" movie isn't always the action-packed intriguing spy movie, but with the use of a nifty website you can have access to a vault of movies and TV shows. I use www.123movies.com and yes once you look past the fact that you close out an ad page and that it isn't sometimes DVD quality, it has some great movies for free. My personal favorites at the moment are Kingsmen, Now You See Me 2, Step-Up: Revolution, and Cinderella Story.
5. Online shop
I am a sucker when it comes to browsing stores and adding items to my cart that I know I won't ever buy. The rush you get when you find something so incredibly cute for a great price is like no other, but knowing your mom would whoop you if you bought $300 worth of clothes is one I hope I never have to feel. The best ones to browse are Forever 21, H&M, LuLu's, Shein.com, and Pinterest.
6. Take a well deserved nap
As we all know the days before finals can be filled with stress and you deserve a nice lil bit of shut eye. Whether it is 15 minutes or 40 minutes, take what you can get because i promise you will thank yourself later.
Well that concludes my advice on what to do in those long and endless hours of school, but I hope you try some of these and i hope that they can help you!
