How I deal with curly hair

Recently I was asked what I do to my hair, which I blatantly replied "I use mousse." But then they proceeded to ask me how to find the best one and I had trouble coming up with a good answer. I have naturally curly hair that is sometimes a blessing and other times a curse. Every time my hair doesn't cooperate I think of the thousands of people who pay an arm and a limb to get my unique curls. But that is all besides the point, lets get to the real reason why you're here.

My journey through the land of mousse and hair cream hasn't been a smooth one. Ever since I was young I hated how when I got out of the shower and brushed my hair out it was poofy and dry and not the pretty picture perfect curls. All of middle school I think I wore my hair down maybe 10 days out of the school year. I didn't feel beautiful like I should of so I went to the web and researched what to do. From their I went to CVS and Target and picked one really by random.

Throughout the past 3+ years of what I like to call being a "mousse detective" I have finally found my favorite mousse.

This is the Pantene Pro-V Curl Defining Mousse. It states the mousse gives "frizz taming foam, soft, sculpted curls" and I couldn't agree more. It leaves my hair slightly "crunchy" the more I put on in smaller areas but I like my hair that way. After I take a shower and get dressed I'll brush my hair out and part my hair down my natural part and split it into two sections. I get a generous handful of mousse in my hand and rub it into one side of hair. I repeat that again for the other side of hair and let it air dry. P.S. I've found that the more I touch my hair throughout the day, the more it will frizz up.

Comparing this to the other mousses I have tried (that left my hair dead, dry, and damaged) this one has left my hair looking great and given me the boost of confidence I need. It makes me feel cute in my outfits and picture ready all the time. I hope all of my curly haired readers try this stuff out and comment down below which mousse you guys use!
