As 2016 is coming to an end, I thought I would recap my year and all of the exciting things that happened. This year has been the most eventful and surprising year that I never thought would happen. From school to friends I think I am slowly discovering more and more about myself.

To start off the year, January, I began my third club volleyball season with the new combined club from Florida, OT. This season was very physically demanding, but overall helped me discover that the passion I thought I had for the sport was slowly fading. Not to say I still don't love the sport, I just didn't enjoy the competitive and cut throat side. Also in January, My sister, my best friend, and I decided to have a photo shoot with her nice camera. It was all laughs and even though it will almost be a year since, I remember it like it was yesterday.

February was filled with quite a bit of partying, birthday partying if I may add. Early February I celebrated one of my volleyball teammates birthdays and it was a ball. I wore a tight black lace dress, which I now regret buying and wearing because it was the ugliest thing ever. I also traveled to Tampa for a volleyball tournament and was really only ecstatic to eat at my favorite place, Daily Eats. If you are ever in Tampa they have the absolute best pancakes I've ever had. Next was another party and the start of my room decor journey. Finally, i went to the Jack and Jack concert on Feb. 28th at the HOB Orlando and it was a blast. We ate chicken fingers that were way too hot/spicy and had to get cups of ice water to numb the feeling and we jumped and danced around like mad men.

March was interesting. I got a Matty B Raps retweet and follow, you know the thing a teenager always dreams of and I traveled to Georgia for a volleyball tournament. Whilst in Georgia we toured Georgia State and Georgia Tech, and let me just say Georgia Tech has one of the most beautiful college campus' I've ever been too.

April was another travel trip because of volleyball except this time we were going to Kansas City. It was an interesting and beautiful city, but the hotel we stayed at was a complete wreck and quite frightening. Our toilet seat came clean off the toilet and she had given us all the wrong keys. My sister and I also attended Pentatonix's Concert at the CFE Arena in UCF. they were incredible and something ill never forget. The biggest thing in April was Playlist Live. This event was something I looked foreward too for over a year and couldn't wait to reunite with my friends and meet some amazing creators. I did lots of things i wasn't supposed too and saw a different side of myself come alive.

May had nothing special to be noted about.

June had probably my favorite spiritual trip ever. I went with my youth group to South Carolina and it was one of the most inspiring and thrilling things I have ever experienced. Getting to work at the local food pantry was eye opening and deepening my connection with God was by far the best part, and goofing around with my friends. Also in JJune was one of the best and worst night of my life. June 10th I attended a Before You Exit concert, which was a band I had and still am obsessing over, with my best friends. The whole concert was a blast and meeting them was amazing but if i knew what was going to happen i would of never went. That night Christina Grimme was shot. It is a memory i will carry with mt for the rest of my life and will forever be scar'd by its effects.

In July i attended the Demi Lavato and Nick Jonas Concert and mistakenly wore my heeled boots which i have since then learned my lesson from. I visit a cute puppy place with an old friend and was a volunteer at my schools volleyball camp. It was very awkward since I was on the fence about playing, but none the less it was a blast. Also in July was when they started building our house, which I am now sitting inside on my bed. I went to a hotel/beach with my friend from the club volleyball season, which ended in June, and got my only tan fix for the whole summer.

August had the most important event, my birthday! I turned 16 and didn't feel a day over 12. I invited a bunch of close friends and hung out. I started the school year off great by getting my car hit by my new neighbor, which in my defense wasn't my fault. I went to Universal for the first time and absolutely loved it. This month our house really came together and took shape.

September wasn't too eventfull. I got my braces taken off after 20 long and painful months. Plus we finally moved into our house.

October wasn't crazy either. I met up with my concert friends for birthday dinner, watched my sister dive for the first time, and DIY'd my own snapchat filter for a halloween party.

November had homecoming, which was by far the best year. I visited Stetson University for a college tour, had my first frozen butterbeer and was mildly disappointed, and went ice skating with my best friend at UCF.

December had my second social media event that i was ecstatic about, PressPlay. I got to hang out with some great people and despite how bipolar i was it all ended up great. Now we are finally to where I am at today. Sitting at home, relaxing, preparing for the things the new year will bring. I hope that I take the good memories and lessons away from this year and leave behind all of the negative worries I had. 2017 will be my year, even though I do say that every year, this year is a real turning point in my life. I hope I can learn new things about my self and what I really want to do in life and take in as many experiences possible. Comment below what your New Years resolutions are! Have a great New Years!
